A great number  of  Botanist writers glorify the unique value of the Wild Flowers of Cyprus.

There are more than 1920 wild flowers in Cyprus, out of which 140 are endemic. Considering that, the total number of wild flowers in Europe and the Mediterranean are no more than 2900, the island of Cyprus, is a Flora Herbal Garden, next to none, in the whole world.

Among these species of flowering plants a great  number have  pharmaceutical properties and their use is widespread.

Members of the Association for cultural and Special Interest Tourism locally produce and process herbal products and essential oils, which are used in various ways.

Today, festivals are organised by the members of our Association to enable visitors and the lovers of wild flowers to enjoy the authentic wild flora during the springtime in Cyprus.
